We're not casting any aspersions about who does or doesn't do their fair share of the laundry. We're just saying that if you buy this infographic kitchen light box for your home, there can really be no more 'I don't know how to' excuses about that ever-increasing laundry pile.

This simple line drawing with humorous text guides users through the process of washing garments in the machine, imparting sound advice and pithy comments throughout. It's designed on acetate which is then mounted onto an A4 light box containing internal LEDs. The design is then illuminated and glows warmly, making a really cute, appropriate and yet simple piece of home decor for the kitchen.

The instructions start by advising users to separate whites from darker colours, with a warning about being wary of the red sock, and then kindly informs them where to place the laundry. It advises against using 'that will do' as a form of measurement (hands up who's guilty of that one - me!) and uses clear illustrations to help laundry novices know what they need to use to select a program. The final instruction completes the process with, 'Remove clothes' (WAIT! WE MEANT FROM THE MACHINE - PUT THOSE BACK ON!) and advises against leaving them in the machine for 5 days and then wondering why they are still damp - and somewhat stinky.

The box comes with a 2 metre USB cable so you don't need any batteries, and this can be plugged into a computer or a mains adaptor (if you have one - not included).
